Hello Queensland and his coast... (Fev. 2010)
Afficher Gold Coast to Townsville sur une carte plus grande
Welcome to the Gold Coast! Buildings, surf, shops, fast-food, restaurant, parties, pubs...
Everything's done to spend a lot of money... The luxury of the Gold Coast: boiling water and socket everywhere. We have to take advantage of that! I'm not ashamed of doing some things in public place...
Saint-Valentin day (Surfer paradise): a wonderful meal in front of the ocean, before having a great party and dancing all the night...
Can't you read??? Smoking is prohibited!
I always say "like a Queen"...
We decided to change "Txotx" and we found a new one... Waouuuu.... so big!
Brisbane
Good view above Brisbane from diferent places and a luxuary swimming pool in the city...
We don't have picture but we visit the city with a lot of rain and we get wet...very funny...
The Sunshine Coast and his surf... We found a great surf spot in "Noosa Head"and Kevin feels like in paradise.... A small track across the national park to arrive in a deserted beach... but not so deserted as we thought: a lot of jelly fish. I prefer not going in the water!
We were very lucky one night. We went to a turtles sanctuary in "Mont repos beach" and we had the chance to see a lot of babies turtles born and go to the water... It's so small and so cute! Not bigger than my finger....
The north coast and his tropical weather during the wet season... Hot, humid, rain, storm... But, with this weather a lot of tropicals fruits very cheap as well. We bought some fruits in the road; Mangos, pinneaple... We have enough fruit to feed a regiment!!!
With the rain, we have some flood in the van... But it doesn't matter, we have enough containers...
After 20'000 km, we need to change a tire and oil for the motor (now 220'000km). Kevin do it and teach me how to do it.
Rockampton, the beef capital and beautiful queensland houses
Gladstone, The bigest aluminium factory in the world...
Mackay, the capital of sugar cane:Good place to spend time when the weather is hot...and funny for the children...and Anne!
A lot of tourism here (Carmila beach)? It was like "alone in the world"! Beach or mirage? maybe the both...
I assure you that it is the ocean...
Maybe we will see the same landscape now that we are going to the centre of australie... See you soon in Alice Springs and the Uluru rocks in the middle of nowhere...
